Buying cheap items from HK/China

Hi, I've been looking for a camera case on fleabay. Seen 1 with bidding starting at 1p from HK with free postage. Seller has 98% feedback, and has sold lots at this price.
My question is, how can a seller continue to sell for 1p and ship from the other side of the world? They do sell other more expensive items as well (up to a few pounds).
Is this likely to be a way of harvesting email addresses from paypal accounts? Or am I being paranoid? Bought other things from HK before, but this one seems too cheap.
Thanks!

Is it definitely free, and doesn't have some text in white font, size 4 somewhere in the listing that states delivery charge is extra?
I think you're right to be suspicious though.0 -
I think these far east sellers are having a hard time with the new FB/DSR scores. If they sell a lot of cheap items they will get a lot of positive/high scores to balance against the odd negative/poor score. The feedback for a 1p item has the same weight as feedback from a high value item. They may well be keeping within a high band powerseller discount level by 'giving away' low value goods.0

Are they making up the cost through postage, also if the item is branded it's likely to be a fake0

No, it's definitely free postage.
I'm after a pouch to keep my new digital camera in, to make it easier to carry in my pocket rather than a proper case.0 -
have you looked on dealextreme? they have camera bits n bobs and are dirt cheap and trust worthy0

i wouldnt bother gettting one from HK they are very poor quality, have a look on Amazon you can get a beautiful made leather Lowepro case for £10 , or fabric ones for around £50
