Lloyds - Payments to other people / accounts

Recently opened account with Lloyds and have setup 5 or 6 payment instructions for individual payees via online banking - 2 of which are my own accounts held at other banks.

Today, for the first time, I went to make a payment to a payee. I made 2 payments to my own accounts, around 2pm. However, I dont see any record of the payments on my account.

When should they appear on my statement? My available balance has not changed either. When putting the payments through a message did appear to say they were successful.

Nothing has been received in my other bank accounts either.

Edit:
Also, if anyone could tell me how long it takes for other stuff to appear that would be great. For example, if i withdraw at a cashline or switch something with RBS it would immediately show on digital banking that I had X amount reduced from my available balance. Any idea with Lloyds?

The payments may have not been taken from your account yet, but you can see if they're pending. Log into Internet Banking, Click on the account you made the payments from and then click Transfers on the menu to the left. You'll now see all your payees. If a payment is pending, then it will show up next to their name.

If it's not there, it may have been sent instantly, which would have appeared on your Statement instantly also. If neither of these apply to you, then the payment hasn't been made, however if you ring Lloyds TSB PhoneBank, they'll be able to tell you what's going on.

As for your other question, withdrawals from any cash machine will be debited and show on your online statement immediately. Payments online will be taken from your available ballance, however usually show up a few days later on your statement. Payment using your Visa Debit Card are also taken from your available ballance immediately, however usually show on your statement a few days later. Payments into your account are shown on your statement immediately. Most payments going into your account that day will usually show between 12-2am.

    Hope this helps a little.
