Stoozing and Remortgaging

We will come off our fixed rate onto the SVR in 10 months from now so will need to remortgage. Currently have no non-mortgage debt - i.e. have not yet started stoozing. Is it worth starting to stooze now, or are we better off keeping ourselves with no credit liabilities ahead of remortgaging? Or should we stooze for (eg) six months and then pay off the cc debt ahead of remortgaging?

General advice is to wind down your stoozing for at least six months before you go for a mortgage application so I don't see you having enough time to cover even a low BT fee.

Full guide to stoozing and mortgages on the stoozing site: http://www.stoozing.com/a_mortgage.htm

There's also a list of offset mortgages that can give you the best return for your stooze, especially if you're a higher rate tax payer: http://www.stoozing.com/g_offset.htm

Hopefully some good reading there for you :)
