Please can you suggest which jobs would be suitable for me?

Hi,
I'm looking for jobs at the moment and would be really grateful if you could give me some advice.
I've been reading a careers guide called 'What Color is Your Parachute?' and followed some of its exercises to figure out my favourite skills and what fields I'd like to work in. What I need to do now is find the names of occupations that suit these skills.
Please could you take a look at the summary I've come up with below and suggest any specific jobs that come to mind that would use these skills in particular?
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
JOBS WORKING PRIMARILY WITH INFORMATION
Six favourite transferable skills:
• Reducing costs prudently and resourcefully
• Researching prices/options analytically and thoroughly
• Organising information meticulously and methodically
• Adapting to new situations flexibly and open-mindedly
• Communicating with people diplomatically and professionally
• Listening to people attentively and respectfully
Three favourite occupational interests:
• Family and consumer economics / Economising
• Internet
• Not for profit

Project Manager..?
What work experience do you have - are you looking for a first job or change of career?0 -
Hi ManAtHome,
Thanks. Have worked as a TEFL teacher abroad for two or three years but don't want really want to teach any more. I guess it would be more of a first job as I haven't worked full time in the UK before.0 -
Your skills seem very suited to banking, although your occupational interests dont seem suited at all!!

Thanks Quasar, hadn't thought of that before, will look into it.
Thanks Poppy9, Local Authority's another option. Don't have any accountancy qualifications though but there might be trainee positions?
Thanks Woby_Tide, sounds good but you're right about the not-for-profit etc. bit.
Please keep the suggestions coming, it's greatly appreciated and really helping me figure out what to do!0 -
Don't work for someone else, start your own business. There is loads of help and support out there, all you need is a good idea - thats the tough part!!

How about working in procurement?
But I suppose most occupations with a Buying Department are trying to maximise profits so it doesnt tick that box!
Buyers often get to travel though and thats obviously something thats appealed to you in the past.0
