  • Hi,

Please follow the instructions on the site regarding the policy file, you can contact the developer by using the form on the website. Please note that this is a Java application and since the current Java update you may need to modify the:

    java.policy

    With the required permissions.

The reason why you would need to modify the policy file is because it needs to use your own internet connection to pass the live data back to your PC, which is explained on the site. This was felt that it would be the best in case you don't have an unlimited internet connection

If you fill out the contact us form on the site - they will give you support on how and what to use.

However to bypass this - you can download the software and it will work...although people don't tend to like to download an external application due to security reasons.

But will say - the reason why they provide a download is because some people may be on the move and perform big searches, with a web interface this becomes difficult and slow, it was really created for things like mobile phones...

But yeah by all means contact the developer on the site - he will help you and perhaps perform searches for you if you want...

Sorry, another edit :-) sorry but I must state:

    In regards to Old Git:
http://www.ryanair.com/site/EN/news....=reg-en-100708 dont try to book via another site

This is true - but the application doesn't buy the tickets and sells the tickets to the individual, it just passes you through the required site for you to get the ticket when you click on the "click me" part, however it also does display who the ticket is with so you can manually go to the site through your browser if you want. So as you booked directly through Ryanair's site, there should be no problem :-).

The reason we provide clicks is because on mobile phones people don't like to type in data but clicks are better....

Note that the download will work on a normal PC due to the way it was wrote...

Anyway this has been a very big post...for more info contact on the site :-)

    All the best,
    Me

p.s. as you have guessed I am part of this project so...just thought I would add that...
    All the best,
    Me

I'd think twice about buying a £5 Ryan Air ticket...chances are they'll cancel it!

I somehow doubt it. I've booked a £5 flight to Wroclaw in September. This will be my fouth return flight with them (this year) the most I've paid is £20 return.

  • Hi,

I have found that Ryanair arn't always the cheapest take a look below with flybe:

    Going Out
    Fri 22 Aug 2008
    Depart 06:45 Arrive 07:40
Manchester (MAN) to Belfast City (BHD)
    Fare £ 0.0
    Taxes and Charges £ 34.64
    Seats £
    Bags £
    Coming Back
    Tue 02 Sep 2008
    Depart 06:45 Arrive 07:45
Belfast City (BHD) to Manchester (MAN)
    Fare £ 0.0
    Taxes and Charges £ 11.34
    Seats £
    Bags £
    Insurance £
    Payment Fee £
    Total so far
    £ 45.98

Have noticed that if you are flexible on the dates and times you tend to get the cheapest flights...
