Hi I have just bought a computer from Currys which is refurbished.
It hasnt come with any manuals or discs.
It has vista how do I download it & save on to a disc incase I need to re install at a later date?
And how big a disc would I need?
It also has office installed but whenever I go on word I am asked for a code, I rang currys who say it is in the memory & they can take over my computer & retrieve it, is there any way I can do this myself as I dont really want them having remote access to my laptop.
Thanks in advance Kat

They're talking rubbish about the code. It's not been inputted otherwise it wouldn't be asking for one. Most likely, it was a 60 day trial of Office which is commonly installed. You need to buy a licence.
If you need to reinstall Vista, you can use and Vista DVD from anyone. All versions are on one DVD.0 -
If you don't wish to buy a licence for Microsoft Office, you can purchase free software, called Open Office, which can read Microsoft Office documents, and can also produce documents in the same format.0
