I've got a real interest in these :)

I've just found one that's £3 too. I even phoned them up to check they still exist, they're still doing it and to get the details.

Indian Buffet. Every day from 12:00 to 17:30. Just £2.95

Unbelievable.... although I've not been. Yet.

Maybe we should have an MSE Meet Up there some time, to check it out.

Reviews are pretty poor, but at just £3 I reckon it's worth knowing it exists ... perchance to try it some time.

I'm afraid that I have been there twice and had an upset stomach twice, each time within an hour of eating. No alcohol involved so must have been the food, some of which was luke-warm.

My guess is that the special menu food is made in vast quantities and can sit around for a while. We saw people eating a la carte stuff that looked piping hot.

In case you're wondering why I went back a second time, it was about a year after the first visit and they'd had a makeover and as I've been to a lot of Indian places in that area I couldn't work out what was 'familiar' about the place until about, er, 1 hour after eating....:o ;)

My friend was OK the second time so was obviously my sensitive tummy, but the first time we went in a group from work and a few of us were affected.

Check out the latest "rogue restaurants" episode on the BBC's website to find out how they can charge so little for the food puke.gif

Kismet also do a evening 4 course for £5. They say four course but what they give you is Starters, a Curry of your choice, Rice or chips and Naan so not 4 courses in theory. Kismet is always full of students. And for a £5 who can complain.
