We had a credit card with a zero balance on it, and did genuinely forget about it; otherwise it wouldn't have had a zero balance;:D only joking.

I only remembered about it when we got a letter saying the account had been closed because of our bankruptcy.

Not a great deal of consistency when you read about people's different experiences.

When I got my notes for my OR meeting, it told me to 'cut up' bring all my credit cards to the meeting.

I followed the instructions dilligently, perhaps a tad over zealously, and cut the cards into literally hundreds of pieces and emptied them out on the or's desk.

She went absolutely ballistic - it took over ten minutes to try and put them back together - like a jigsaw - so that she could check them against the list.

Why do they tell you to do something, and then want you to do the opposite.:confused:

Mind you - I thought it was funny.

Does a nectar card mean that Sainsbury's have opened an account with me, and should I run a credit check on them?

Perhaps you can run one on Tesco 'Clubcard' as well, BL, sounds decidedly 'iffy' to me. :rotfl: :rotfl:
