can any one tell me what time in the evening the free calls start as I cannot find anything on the web site

Subject to status and acceptance. 5p minimum call charge applies. All landline calls are billed per second and include VAT. Different rates apply when calling, non-geographic numbers (0845, 0870) international, mobile and ISP. Conditions apply. Peak: Monday - Friday, 8am - 6pm. Off-peak: Monday - Friday 6pm - 7.59am. Weekend: Friday 12 am - Sunday 12 am.

As far as I'm aware the connection charge obly applies to chargeable calls.

It'll only be for chargable calls like I mentioned in post #113 here. It's just not very clear on their site. You could try emailing them for clarification but most people don't appear to get a reply from them.

on the weekend free calls does this mean from 6.00pm on friday untill 7.59am on Monday morning and as you stated friday 12am to sunday 12am.

p.s. dont forget they say they reserve the right to charge for e-mail replies at £1.00

From 6.00pm until midnight Fri = evening off-peak = free.

From midnight Fri to midnight Sun = weekend off peak = free.

From midnight Sun to 7.59am Mon = evening offpeak = free.

So 62 hours unbroken period for free calls.

Hi,

I emailed them and asked this question before I joined up, they confirmed that the connection charge is only for chargeable calls. I am now a customer and can confirm that there are no connection charges for the free calls.
