Aqualand in tenerife..

Has anyone been to this place as we have it one of our excursions when we go on our cruise..
is it easy to get to from the port if we do the trip ourselves and much cheaper?

It's 24.50 euro per adult. You can book on their website before you travel and get a 15% discount, (you print the tickets out yourself), or you can print out a 15% discount coupon to take with you.

I did the dolphin interaction there which was good. You don't swim with them, just water up to around your knees. However we went March 2007 and found that some rides where closed for maintenance as it was out of season. The dolphin show is really good though.

Where will your Cruise ship be docking? That will determine the cost of a taxi.

If you are docking in the capital Santa Cruz (main port) this is the other end of the Island from Aqualand so would be expensive by anything other than public bus. If you are docking at Los Cristianos (unlikely unless ship is not very large) it is about 3-4 miles so taxi would be ok.

have been to the Tenerife Aqualand, it is ok but have been to much better and just a warning that the water is salt water! have fun x
