I have a MBNA Credit card - advice....

Hi I have a mbna credit card of which I am currently on a payment plan with as I got into difficulty last year, so my card is suspended at present and just says on my statement not to use it.

What are my chances of getting it reinstated and recommencing normal payments ??

Thanks

The only people who would know are MBNA. Why not give them a call.
The odds are 50-50. They will say yes or no :)

    Good luck :)

Let's break your query down into 2 components:
    1) recommencing normal payments
    2) getting your cc reinstated

    1) recommencing normal payments. What kind of arrangement have you got, and with whom? What are the terms and conditions of this arrangement? You may be able to convince MBNA that your financial situation has improved to the extent that you can pay X amount by direct debit each month. If they accept your offer, then yes you may recommence normal payments.

    2) getting your cc reinstated. As your card is blocked, you'll have to satisfy certain criteria before the block can be lifted. Here are a few of the criteria: you must be able to show that you've made the past 3 payments on time and all the payments are up to date without any arrears, your balance must NOT be 0, there must not be any other blocks on your account.

    Good luck!

Hi, the agreement is with MBNA, they cleared all my arrears several months ago so my credit file looks a nice string of 0000000000

    Thanks
