Hi is there going to be an increase in car tax next year for vehicles made before 2001 and not going by emmisions as I have a nissan primera 1.6 t reg 1999.
As my road tax is due 31 aug 08 just wondering if it would be cheaper for me to get 6 months this time then in end of feb 09 I'll get the 12 months .The cost for 6 months now would be £101.75,or 12 months £185.00.Many thanks for any help on this matter cheers Leachy.

Your car will be £200 for 2009/10
AFAICT it will will make no difference if you get
6 mths then 12 mths or
12 mths then 6 months or
12mths then 12 mths0
