When does my car need it's 1st MOT

Hi,
My car is a 56 plate and ive just had my car tax papers through, can someone tell me when i need to put it through its 1st MOT :confused:

    It needs an MOT three years after it was first registered.

    Only next year at the earliest, but check the V5 for registration date and, as stated above, add 3years :)

    But submit it one month early, then if it fails you might get a warranty repair, and your MOT will still run from the same 3 year anniversary date. You should not need your V5 to qualify for early testing, but it would be a good idea to take it anyway.
