Recommended card?

Hi everyone,

Just wondering what cards you all have for 0% Balance Trasnfers. I have read martins tips but just wanted to see what you have.

Already got: Virgin 0% 15 months £1k limit & Egg 0% 13 months £500 limit

It cannot be a Barclaycard or a Natwestcard or Capital One. The balance to be transferred is from a Barclays credit card and I already bank with Natwest and have a credit card so they cannot offer me a 0% on BT deals and Capital One - I have a card with them but am soon to close the account - dont like them!

Thanks in advance to all answers
xXx

To maximise the 0% period on BTs, 15 months is currently available to new customers from Halifax. There's a 3% handling charge ;)

Reckon a Mint card would be a good one to apply for , they have long 0% balance transfer deal and the apr is decent as well..

Isn't Mint an RBS group company?

I know the BT is going to be from a Barclaycard but the OP says they already have a Natwest card from RBS group. I know it's possible to have both, but looking at the limits Virgin and Egg have given them I'm hazarding a guess that their earnings aren't necessarily very high. Would that limit their credit limit with Mint?

Stacie, I would keep the Capital One card open even if you don't plan to use it. The free identity protection they provide is worth just keeping it tucked away somewhere.
