Hi, can I join in too, I've been menu-planning for about a month now and I'm really enjoying it - both the cooking, the saving, and the food. I've just bought The Kitchen Revolution so I'll be trying some of those recipes as soon as it arrives.

Our menu for this week is

Saturday - Beef Rendang, Chicken Pakoras, Basmati Rice, Raita and Roti
Sunday - Roast Chicken and all the trimmings
Monday - Spanish chicken and chorizo casserole with couscous
Tuesday - Ragu Bolognese and Spaghetti (Delia recipe, from freezer)
Wednesday - Toad with mash and onion gravy
    Thursday - Home-made pizza
Friday - Chilli con Carne with baked potatoes (freezer)

  • OK, all done now! I've decided to break with tradition and try actually making a different thing every night (instead of working my way through a 4-person casserole for lunch at work:rolleyes: ) Haha.

    Sun - steak burgers, salad
Mon - Malaysian beef curry (SC)
Tue - chilli and ginger chicken (SC)
Wed - lunch grilled veg and goat's cheese; dinner salmon risotto
Thurs steak burgers, D salmon risotto
Fri GF spaghetti with salmon and peas
    Sat - gingered carrot soup

    Right, I'm off to shop.
