MADE THAT CALL TO NTL SAYING I THINKING OF LEAVING (WHICH I AM).
The girl made me an offer instead of paying £30 for the family pack I could pay £28 for it plus get evening and weekends for 5p connecion then as long as i want in a 30 mile radious.
Well for a start £2 a month saving does'nt excite me much and also Its only 3p connection with 1899.com anytime of day to anywhere in the uk as long as its a landline.
So now I thinking of keeping the phone with NtL cos BT the same price (which i think is a £10.50 charge per month) and using 1899 for all my calls.
The next step is buying a freeview box but i had one 3 years ago and it stopped working after 12 months, can anyone recommend a good value one ?
I think all this will get my bill down from £45 per month to possibly £15.00 a month? £360 saving per year !
ALSO I registered with 1899.com yest and still awaiting there email about my registration......do they normally take this long ?

Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0

You should get the confirmation email from 1899 immediately. Who is your ISP? as there are problems sometimes with AOL or have you checked your "trash" folder?
If you get an email saying they have "full capacity" or similar try signing up again using your mobile number and once the confirmation email comes in go and add your landline number0
