Just found out my online banking from Nationwide is blocked.
They say more than 600 accounts have been suspended since last night due to a bad virus circulating they think these account may have.
After speaking with them and doing two online scans they asked, they now say I must await instruction via the post tomorrow.
Bit of a pain for me being overseas, anyone know what the virus is supposed to be? Updated my virus checker and did indepth scan, also adaware and Ccleaner in addition to the F-secure and Xoft scan they asked me to do online. Cleaned a few things, Xsoft found loads of stuff it said were very serious threats but they were just two bookmarks in my IE favourites, you need to pay $40 to clean them, so just deleted them myself.
Now I have done this can I be pretty sure I don't have the virus, as I want to log into my Halifax account now.
(Sorry for the duplicate post- also in banking. was not sure where to put it)
