If you go with a LLU that uses ADSL2+ you could get up to 9Mb if your line was in good working order and no issues. Your attenuation is basically saying you are roughly 2.6Km from your exchange. SNR is the ratio of signal to noise on line and the higher the number the better for your connection.
Who is your internet provider and what speed are you paying for (up to)?0 -

Better to use kibi (Ki) to mean 1024 as Kb is still interchangeably used to mean 1000 bytes as well as 1024. And trying to distinguish between k and K isn't widely used because it isn't scaleable or consistent."She is quite the oddball. 1.8mbit is too slow for a modem that's syncing at just under 4mbit. You should be getting 3mbit+, but that's all dependent on how you're checking the speed, lan and wan traffic and whether you're using wireless or ethernet cable to connect to the router. Wireless can ruin the speed. They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it0 -
With those stats you should get over 5000 kbps sync rate. MrSaffron of thinkbroadband has this speed estimator for various flavours of adsl http://www.farina1.com/adsl/default.aspx“I look like Spiderman at a funeral”~ Karl Pilkington0

It also depends on congestion at your ISP, I get a 7200 connection, but I only ever get near that speed at 4am in the morning!A friend is someone who understands your past, believes in your future, and accepts you just the way you are.0

does anybody think that i should be complaining to my isp, my setup is very simple i have 1 phone socket, filter into that router into that.connect via wireless but i am only about 7 feet away from router. , although on the bt adsl checker it says i should get up to 2.5mb0
