wouldn't have made any difference if you said yes just means another department need to authorise it as effectively increasing the debt you owe... so if you are struggling to meet current payments any recalculation would mean you'd be struggling even more (unless interest rate drops of course)

Hi, Im hoping to take a maternity break from july 2009 for 6 months due to being on maternity leave. I took a maternity break in 2007 will this affect the break? Also does anyone have the address I need to write to? thanks

Does anybody know if they will do a payment holiday if you are on a interest only morgage?

we took a payment break in october 2007 with NR. they just sent us a circular kinda letter asking if we would like one. so we thought 'why not, would help with christmas' and took them up on the offer. that was it, no questions asked.
