Amex Platinum 0%, anyone?

When I click on the link, I get 0% APR on Balance transfers and purchases for 6 months.

Yes, but when you then click on the apply button the offer changes to the 4.9% LOB.

Any feedback from posters who applied using the link?

Also, at the Eurotunnel terminal yesterday, Amex were there with a stand offering the Amex Platinum credit card with 0% on purchases for 6 months (14.9% afterwards), free digital camera keyring for applying, and a free return ticket on Eurostar (or maybe it was le shuttle??) when your spending on the card reaches £500. But no 4.9% life of balance for balance transfers.

Forgot to post a reply, apologies for that. I rang Amex around 5 days ago and told about this webpage an their 0%BT+PCH offer. The CS guy didn't have a clue and kept on saying 4.9%LOB... Anyway I insisted and he put me on hold and "apparently" spoke to his supervisor/manager. Answer: NO... Only 4.9%LOB. I also said that I could give him the www address so he could check it himself, to no avail.

I've been lucky though, cos I've been accepted by TSB Amex. So will wait till 06 to get AMex Platinum...
