Whhat programes do you recommend? I use AVG antivirus and ad aware, just downloaded spybot and there was quite a few that was detected. I read that spybot isnt as good as it used to be. Any other programmes that are good? Thank you!

AVG isn't the best free anti-virus; I installed Avira AntiVir on my sister's computer yesterday, and it picked up 24 (!) trojans that AVG missed. It also seems to scan faster too.
