    BAD NEWS

I have just phoned them, it was always a minimum of £10 - ALWAYS

They claim that there was a mis print on the terms and that we wont get the £100 cashback for our £5 a month policy but they said we have the right to cancel within 30 days, not be charged and re start a new policy
Surely if you have a print out of the terms stating £5 they have to stand by it?

Wow - this is breathtakingly bad publicity for the Post Office. How deceitful of them.

I printed out the old t&c's as I did the application and my printer has put the date of printing on it aswell, I thought they may be required at some stage. I can scan them in if needed by anyone.

Yes, can you send me the scan too please? Thanks

This was a con from the start, I knew I shouldnt have done it, two policies, bank details taken and now a load of time to cancel them with no return:o

if we get screwed on this and you have online banking just cancel your dd online (5 seconds of your time) and wait for the letter saying they had a problem taking your first payment then write back telling them to get lost for screwing us all!!!.........but lets wait and see, as I say my quidco is validated..............

Exactly. What is the point of Terms and Conditions if they don't have to abide by them ???

    Cashback Cashier
I have just applied and checked my policy. It says a premium of £5 per month. I await with interest for the documentation to arrive in 2/3 days and if no £100 cashback after 4 months, I will cancel.

Who was it that said if something is too good to be true, it usually is!
