50.00 Cashback For Successful New HSBC Current Account Applications ( No Monthly Fee)

This is being posted primarily for those who havent been able to take advantage of either A+L or Co-operative Current account opening cashback offers due to not being able to meet their monthly funding requirements.

The following cashback sites have recently ( perhaps temporarily doubled the normal cashback offered on HSBC NO MONTHLY FEE current account. This account has no apparent monthly funding requirements.

Clear all cookies before you visit either of the cashback sites and dont visit HSBC site directly before application is made via cashback site for an account.

Do not confuse this account with HSBC Bank Account "Plus"

While this thread should really be in Bank Account forum, there might be savers who wouldnt normally look in the Bank Account Forum who would like to have the knowledge of this cashback.

+ additional 5.00 is available from HSBC if people sign up to go paperless ( green)

Are you sure? The account I applied for online via Quidco last time was a 'green' account (paperless) and I was not eligible for the £5 switcing incentive even if I switched out and back again.

Normally cashback on this account is only 20.00.

I applied a few nights ago, during application stage their was an option to go green ( no cheque book etc) and get 5.00 from HSBC or have the account the paper way. I took the 5.00 way.;)

What was the reason that you didnt get the 5.00 green incentive. ??????????????????

I think it mustn't have been available last November since I went 'green' without spotting any offers and was not paid thereafter. (You've given me an idea! I could just ask HSBC for the £5 now! I'll message them..)
