    relax.

    other little points.

you may get asked about in-store and window promotions.

Eg in pubs they have promotions in the tiolet. if no one else is in the tiolet. I just take a photo of the promotion. Saves trying to remeber it.

Write up your report as soon as you can (of course safe place). Your get most of it down. Even if its just drafting in short hand on your questionnairre. You can put the effort in making it more readable when on your PC.

If doing a one where you can take a freind/OH let them read the notes.
I get my OH to check the ladies tiolets for me. They may pick some thing up you miss.

Its breaking peoples t&c with the ms companies they use to mention exact figures on here - but some you dont get a fee, but a reimbursement to cover the cost of a product, meal, or treatment etc that you get to keep. Some fee's include mileage and others this is an additional cost you can claim for. By the time you remove costs of travel, parking, and time spent carrying out a visit and writing the reports on paper you can even make a loss. However, there is the opportunity to make a healthy extra income from this (hundreds not millions!) - and it can be enjoyable. If you want to know more then please have a look at the mystery shopping thread - especially Timmnes fab sticky post that lists some comps and tax tips.:D

I have to say i've not MSed in about 18months [mainly because i've not had the time], and now i've got 3 jobs lined up within 24 hours of signing up to new companies.

Peridot make sure you tell us how you felt your first one went!

Cheers peridot. Actually it went fine, the shop was really quiet so not a lot to 'remember' which was the bit I was most worried about. I found myself slightly rooting for the guy too because he was doing his best to be helpful but wasn't necessarily ticking the boxes. The only thing about it being quiet is that it took longer than I would have expected....
