I'm trying to make some invites for my civil partnership, I want the colour to print all the way to the edges of the paper, but it won't microsoft word just shuts down on me. Printmaster wont let me resize the page. I knw my printer can do it, because it does it with photos. So what else can I use which will let me do it? I'm finding it really frustrating! I've an Canon IP3000 printer.

Change the default paper size to something a little larger and allow bleeding0

It will only do it when it's A4, otherwise it automatically creates a margin, however much I tell it not to, or it gives up and shuts down!0

supprised MS office shuts down, that is odd. What will only do A4?
Can you change the margins to zero and allow bleeding0 -
I've tried changing the margins to zero. I've set the printer up to borderless printing. Then when I click print on MS Word, it shuts down. Because I'm not using a pre-determined size photo paper, the printer defaults to A4, letter, DL, etc.0

Can you find a template on the Microsoft site and use that instead?0

Completely off the OP's original question but why not just us coloured paper/card and print just the (black?) text. If your printing a large amount this might actually work out cheaper than a bucket load of printer ink. I bought some from here: http://www.rapidsupplies.co.uk/
Very reasonable prices for the quality of paper and quick delivery.0
