In case anyone else was wondering what the Xtreme Terrain Fest was - don't think it's for me!
A 1,500m swim course requiring an exit and re-entry leads to the 26k mountain bike course with fast single track and technical woodland. The 5km run is through trees and open heath land and finishes back at the water’s edge. All athletes receive a free technical top and recovery drink supplied by For Goodness Shakes! This venue is ideal for spectators and offers a challenging course for newbies as well as professionals. Who will beat the 2007 fastest athletes Colin Dixon (2:03hrs) and Freya Bloor (2:20hrs) and become Xtreme Terrain Triathlon champion 2008?0 -
