I need the Norton removal tool.
I need to reinstall the wireless connection and would like the number to bring you the Netgear setting so I can find which channel I set mine to. As I cannot locate it normally.
Probably lots more questions once I get started.

Normally you would search for available wireless networks and then click on yours to connect and enter then WPA key when prompted. Are you sure that the routers wireless is switched on? Is the WiFi LED illuminated? Is it set to broadcast the SSID? If not try enabling the SSID broadcast. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
Thank you expresso.
It wouldn't connect because I had chosen not to broadcast the SSID.strange.

Nope.
I have looked into the settings it has the network address and automatic.
I can't understand as when I set it up yesterday it all worked fine. I've only turned it off and on again.
I have installed comodo firewall could this cause this problem?£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4.............................NCFC member No: 00005.........

Well if surfing was OK before you installed comodo, try disabling it temporarily. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -

Its not comodo just disabled it to see. It was all working when I reinstalled after the reset. I believe I had this problem when I first set up wireless on this computer but I can't remember how we overcame it.

I have completely uninstalled comodo and now I can connect the laptop to the internet.
There must be a way of altering the setting on the firewall to allow connection. I certainly don't fancy uninstalling/reinstalling it each time.
I'll post the question as a new thread.£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4.............................NCFC member No: 00005.........
