What'm I doin' wrong?

Hi.

I'm trying to post a comp. (on the comps. board) but the forum code replaces the address with lots of !!!!!!!!!s. The link looks fine to me: can't see anything wrong with the site. McAfee SiteAdvisor is green on it.. I've seen this before in posts and just assumed the forum mods. had done it, but obviously it doesn't like the link I'm trying to use.. I keep scanning it for rude words! lol.. Can I use the link in any way, shape or form..?

I searched for the comp. too and only found one other which was expired and from a different site anyway.. maybe I'll try and find the website address in case

Enlighten me please.

It means the site has been blocked for various reasons. The forum software automatically censors certain words and websites. Post the url here with a space in the first part, see if anyone knows. But I believe one site that sometimes does comps was blocked because a while back, people were spamming links to the site, and because of that it was blocked.

Thank you for your reply. I've done what you said, only posted the link in the comp. post I've been trying to post for.. ages! It's here if you want to take a look at the link.

I've been wanting to contribute to the comps. forum for a while, but every time I try, I search and find someone's beaten me to it! :doh:

A discussion about this happening with a similar site happened here. Long story short, the site in question there was blocked because the site owner was posting his own competitions on this site, presumably to get more attention for his site.
