Hi, My wife had a policy third party through CIS my son a named driver had a claim. If my wife re applies does the claim go against her on the quote or my son who will not now be a named driver ?

If your wife takes out a new policy without your son as a driver then she does not have to mention the claim your son had.
But if your son had an "at fault" accident then your wife's no claim discount is likely to be reduced by 2 years even if your son will no longer will drive.
I don't make the rules but have to put up with them like everybody else.
Best of luck0 -
The policy was only 3 months old therefore no no claims discount anyway. It pays to challenge0
