DWP online calc says I am entitled but am I ?

Hi there, I hope that someone can help, before I waste my time.
I work for an airline and have been told by others that I am entitles to WTC as my gross annual income is below 12k
I have gone onto the DWP site and used there online calc and it does state that I am entitled to some ( not loads, but something )
I am a little concerned that I may be wasting my time as I also get substinence allowances for when I am abroad ( tax free ) but as far as I am aware these payments do not form any additional boost to my salary.
will the DWP think otherwise ? I do try and save as much as I can and am worried if DWP want to see bank statements, it will see irrigular and random cash credits. I by no means want to scam the system or anything like that, however, my income is low and have come the realisation that I should claim what I am entitled too, albeit a couple of hundred pounds a year
can anyone shed some light
Thanks for your help

I am a Travel Agent
My company’s ABTA number is V2043. MSE doesn't check my status as a Travel Agent, so you need to take my word for it. This signature is here as I follow MSE's Travel Agent Code of Conduct.I am also Cabin Crew, my posts are my own and not that of the airline or other company

As long as it keeps you under the allowance which I think is about £13k then I think that's fine. Give Tax Credits a ring and ask

Are you over 25?
Do you work more then 30 hours a week?
If the above don't apply do you have a diability?0 -

The online calc and eligibilty test had those questions and I answered yes.
No I do not have any disability.
I was a little stumped on the whole hours thing as working for an airline, my hours are calculated over a month, but on a week basis, I would say it was over 30 as my rosta would say for example total hours 136...I am a Travel AgentMy company’s ABTA number is V2043. As long as you work over 30 hours a week you should be eligible. Have you tried www.entitledto.com ?0

£12k for 36 hours a week is almost on national minimum wage...Your subsistence money is for essential stuff you have to pay when a broad. Its bad to have a FT job and still be getting WTC.tribuo veneratio ut alius quod they mos veneratio vos0
