I've paid the £7.50 refund I got yesterday. This is money that would normally just magically disappear, instead it's helping my visa disappear!

Ahhh I have recently changed banks from Barclays to the Coop and my last day with barclays was yesterday. I read through the info pack for the coop and I can't do online transfers from my account. So I am going to have to save my £2.00 aday and do a payment a week.
Should I open a savings account and transfer my £2.00 aday into it(I can do transfer between accounts. I am worried if I dont take the £2.00 a day out, I will not do it or put it off.
    Any suggestions would be great.

P.s Good morning and well done to those who are doing this challenge.

Have now found after playing with online banking I can indeed pay my cc, but it takes 3 days. Oh well, £2.00 off for me today.

Thats what i do - i transfer it into a savings account and then pay a tenner off - i tend to take the pence from the balance of my current account every day as a minimum

  • After my initial spurt at £5 per day, now down to £1 per day... :(

Never mind it all counts - £53 down :)

I thought I was going to drop to a £1.21 today, but just checked the bank account and my hubby has paid me the money for the food shopping, so £5.21 off the Barclaycard. :j Keep going Scaredandindebt, a £1 is still bringing it down.

I can't wait to join in on this, have to wait til next week when my rent and loan repayments are due and then once they have gone I can begin!!!
I can't chance it beforehand, I'm too triggerhappy and don't have enough money in my account at the best of times!!!
