Mornin' all
I have paid £5 today, but I did it in reverse as suggested yesterday (from the credit card account rather than the current account) to see if this makes any difference to the payments showing up.
I've adjusted my signature, hmm, may have to round it up me thinks....

Morning all, well just paid £2.90 instead of my usual £2.00. I wanted to round my account balance off.
I am still debating paying Next as well.
Well done all of you with your payments so far, it means less money for them and more in our pockets.

Exciting news!! I've just found £45 languishing in an old savings account. I have transferred it across to the visa!! And I've received a £7.50 overpayment, so that's going across tomorrow as well. :T
I've hated this credit card for so long I never thought I'd ever see the back of it with it's criminal rate of interest, but thanks to Emily, it's disappearing.Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

Hmm, just worked out that I would need to pay £6.50 a day (including today) on my card to get it to £300 by the end of the month. I don't think I will be getting my radio money that quickly either.
I'm expecting a lot of mystery shopping money next week so will hopefully be able to pay some of that off it.

afternoon,
Yesterday i did decide to pay £20 off my barclay card, and today i got my hsbc statement saying min payment £77 and estimated interest is £57 which is sooo much so i swiftly made and extra £10 payment today. and am doing 16hours overtime this week but its crap pay and overtime isnt time and a half (im temping probably for the worst company ever) but its better than sitting on my butt earning nothing. so hey ho plodding on. keep up the good work everyone and lets beat those creditors (not literally) lol :rotfl:Due to budget cuts the light at the end of the tunnel will be switched off.
