Hi £1.83 for me today. Was supposed to be NSD but DS needed some slippers so nipped into town to get him some. picked up a few bits for his xmas stocking in the woolies sale but what queues there were.

Also got my last two xmas presies so going to spend the weekend wrapping them so that I can post the ones I need to send next week at the cheapest possible postage rate.

Will get some stamps on Wednesday to send my cards second class - have to get them written on Monday and Tuesday night.

    Have a good weekend all.

    Hi all
Rather random £8.13 for me today.

I did cash in the dollars that I found in the cupboard and better than the £14 I was reckoning on it came to over £26 because all dollar notes look alike and what I had thought was a $10 was actually a $20 - I really need new glasses!:rotfl:

So I used £20 to pay my friend the last instalment for our night out later on this month and put just the £6 in with my coppers. I was going to put the whole lot in but as its such a tight month I felt that this was best in the long run as its like getting my night out for free as I paid for the rest of it with money from selling unwanted mystery shopping purchases on ebay. Either way I would win.:T

And on a super positive note to start the weekend - I have now paid off over half my debt by doing PAD. I am shocked that over £180 has gone into my account without me really noticing. Its made up of payments in of a few pounds that I would have spent without noticing on the kids or a coffee and a bun and the spare change that would have just sat around. After this comes a very long haul on the other card but I will be ready for it!

Yay for this thread and all of your support - thank you.:T :j :T

  • £2.00 to the overdraft for me today. But have just got back from woolies! Some great bargains but none were really 'essential' I have always said things will get a little worse before they get better, but trying to limit the situation as best as possible. Roll On payday then i can really start bashing my overdraft. Kind of hoping I may be able to clear it by end on Dec....there I've said it......so had better do it now I suppose!

  • Hi everyone

Been out all day. Taken me half an hour to catch up on today's posts. All been very busy again. Typed out my message, tried to post it but it failed. Is there a time limit when you sign in?

Anyway, I'll try again..... £3 to pad for today... to get rid of orrrible overdraft.

Good news... just found out that I have overpaid on mortgage, a whopping £193. Decided to claw this back and pay off some more of the overdraft. Did not think I could count this as pad as it is a large sum or can I? Will take it off o/d balance when it goes into my account.

Can't wait to get rid of o/d then can start on mortgage! :D
