Once when i gave up I saved an old ciggy packet and everyday rolled up a fiver like a ciggy and put it in the box......20 days = £100.
I must try to give up again...............LBM 10/08 £12510.74/0 -

My mum hasn't smoked in 20 years but periodically she "takes it up" again and puts money into a bottle in order to save for something. It's amazing how much it mounts up!
I'm putting money into my piggy Monty and will have a count up after Christmas, got a small payment from Quidco coming next week to go as a payment a day (don't get me started on the £135 I am owed by them from February! ).
Bad news is that my backdated payrise which was to be used off my payment a day has been diverted towards funds for a drumkit for my son (we paid a bit more than we planned and went for a digital option with HEADPHONES). Good news is that I have had a small increase in hours so next month I might be able to manage a bit more of an overpayment.

Guess what moneysaving, debt free wannabe thing I did today??!!
Booked a holiday to CUBA!!!:j
To be fair, its our honeymoon (albeit 2 years late), and Mr Tesco paid for £1,400 of it through Clubcard vouchers, and we paid another £500 through Virgin vouchers that we had for wedding presents, the rest we paid ourselves - £250.00.
Cant bloody wait!
