Had paid £1.50 earlier. Just made my normal monthly payment to MBNA which is usually £43.33 but have a little bit more than expected so made it up to £45. An extra £1.67 paid.
It seems really silly with such small amounts but it feels soooo good making these overpayments. I love it.Total Debt now £22,525.07 Start Debt £32,732.36

Mumofcookers - well done for paying off a card, I bet it feels great. The card i'm paying off is a biggie too but if it wasn't for this thread the paying off day would still be next Easter. At the moment I reckon it's nearer February. Good luck with the next one xx0

I'm so excited - how sad my life has become but I am.:j
The HSBC card arrived today and i've been able to transfer both the asda card and the barclaycard - 0% for 12 months. i've set up a direct debit for the minimum, a standing order for £10 per week and i'm still going to do a payment a day - just to hsbc now instead of barclaycard.
i would love to have it paid off by the end of the 0% - fingers crossed:T
have updated my sig to show hsbc
