have also started taking electric reading every day and working out how many units iv used and putting that money by also, and it makes me aware of when i use loads

didnt get a chance to post yesteday but paid the following in to my savings account to pay of the credit card bill:

£2.60 - savings on petrol courtesy of Mr T's 5p of a litre promotion
£3.16 - saved from my shopping bill on BOGOFs
£4 - me and little one washed the car by hand instead of going through a car wash:rolleyes:

so thats £9.76 for yesterday

Today
Picked up some socks for little one in woolies reduced to £2 a pair when got to cash desk one pair was 50p the other £1 so the balance of £2.50 going in this pot too.
deposited cheque for £36 owed by mum which will go straight of card.
£1.80 - resisted the urge to go to costa for a coffee and came home and had one instead.
so thats £40.30 for today.

This is so much fun and it really makes you think about your choices.
