Easyjet card with Citibank

I was flagged down in the airport for an Easyjet card.
It offers a free £40 flight if I spend £250 (something for nothing as long as clear the balance?)

When I activated the card - they suggested they could give me a cash advance of up to £3000 at 0% for 9 months (3% fee) - naturally I thought "perhaps that should go into a savings account and I should make a profit?"

I have not done this before so I need to ask - is this sensible and, which account should I stick it in if I need to pull the money out in 9 months?

 Cheers + thanks for your help

Your going to struggle to make a decent profit with a 3% fee for 9 months.

This equates to an APR of aorund 4%, and assuming you are a basic rate tax payer, you need a savings account paying more than 5%.

Ok there are some paying over 6%, but when you take into account miminum payments is it really worth it for minimal profit ?
