All these sites are owned by one company easy computer in huddersfield.

I have ordered a acer 5720 laptop on 31Jul and received it on 1Aug. I then realised the it was incorrect purchase and filled form for returning this item. RMA was issued on 4AUg and my husband and I have brought back the item to their sales counter in huddesfield, returned it in pristine condition as it was and ask for the replacement acer which was the same price.

First of all I have been charged Admin fee of 10+VAT=11.75 which I can not see in terms and condition anywhere.

secondly the seal was broken of the new replacement laptop box and clear tape was used to seal it.
"I have indicated this to the staff then TINA (who claimed to be the manager) opened the box, the inside seal inside was also broken and the laptop inside look used too.
I insisted on getting another sealed box. After a while I have been given another box with broken seal AGAIN.
I showed it to Tina and she claimed that there was "PRE DISPATCH"
fault with these laptops and ACER the manufacturer have to change some part in it hence the seals are broken.
I was really disappointed with the explaination however she insisted that it was true and dialed me a number from the her phone to ACER to verify her claim.
I spoke to the ACER rep and he said it was absolutely rubbush and they would never do such thing and even they did they would use proper seals.

Anyway I have asked if these are the refurbished then it should not be sold as brand new but insisted that it was the case (i.e. pre dispatch fault story) and blaimed the ACER rep that he does not know anything as he is here in Plymouth while the pre dispatch thing happend in the factory in China."

I have spent nearly 2 hours in there but she would not listen.
Finally he gave up and left with an unsealed box. the laptop look used and also have some small scratches on it.

During all this he have asked several times if there is anybody he can complain to but Tina insisted she is the one running all this premises.

SO MAKE SURE YOUR CHECK YOUR SEAL BEFORE OPENING BOXES.

refund no good too. they offered me refund but excludin charges.

£2.97 for CCard charges
£14.95 delivery charges
£11.74 admin charges.

altoghether I have paid about £383 but I would get only £349.97
