Flexicover - Cliam Problem

I took out flexicover insurance (premium multi travel) via this site after recommendation on how good it was. I have now went to see where I stand for a claim. today my flight to Canada (due to leave at 2pm) has been canceled and rescheduled for tomorrow 8am this has now knocked out my connecting flight in Canada for tomorrow and my hotel I booked for when I arrived later today. Flexicover say the insurance does not cover this at all is this correct? Is this not why you have insurance?
Thanks for any info.

Hi ... sorry to hear about this.
Exactly that type of problem was raised on here just a short while ago - rather than go into the details of the discussion, here is a link to the posts involved - unfortunately it may just serve to confirm what you have been told about not having cover:

Two thoughts - don't know they will help, but:
Can you argue with the airline who cancelled today's flight over the problems they have given you?
Did you use a credit card when booking - any help there if you did?If many little people, in many little places, do many little things,
they can change the face of the world.

Not really -they give you the opportunity to read the policy and make sure it's what you want before it becomes binding.
This looks like you didn't bother reading it.0
