I think drawing cash on the card may be the reason your limit was reduced.

I agree with Mable. Withdrawing cash can sometimes be seen by a lender as an indication that a customer is having financial problems & needs cash urgently. Unfortunately it's not just how you pay the money back that they judge you on but also how you spend it.

or that it's being used for something less traceable...I'm not saying that this is the case here for the moment but the provider doesn't have a lot to go on sometimes so it will use this arbitrary rule-of-thumb as a very rough guide and defend its assets at the first hint of any trouble...

it doesn't seem fair that there should be "good" and "bad" spending but in the provider's eyes, there is.....

I am an existing cardholder for some years, and have always had a rate of 17.9% but last month I was told it would change to 22.9%! I complained and was told that they now get a score every month for every customer and mine was now low! I got reports from Equifax and Experian and found that Equifax was good and Experian was very bad; only because of the amount of debt I have

Same thing happened to me - once mine is paid its gone . No other provider has treat me like this. If I had bad debt - I could understand.
