don't use my home phone very often ,mostly evenings/weekends and only about 8-12 calls a week or so to family

My maths makes £4.99 = 166 calls on 1899 or 18866.

Even at the high end of your estimate, that's 118 more calls than you make.

You'd be better off staying on BT Together Option 1 and using 1899 for your UK 01/02 calls (IMHO, it's hardly worth the hassle of signing up for a CPS servce for the sake of saving about £1.50/month).

you could look at JDS for free evening and weekend calls
or talk Talk / onetel for free weekend calls
for non free landline calls use 1899 or 18866 and 18185 for mobiles
