Hi Sar, great to see you have returned! Glad to hear life at home is going well for you and that band has a gig! I remember a few weeks ago they were a bit nervous about doing a gig, so I'm glad one is going ahead!

It'll be great to hear what you're up to and how you're getting on in saving for the TV!

Great news to see you here again! Anna xx

I think I was balancing out your long post with my succinct one. :D

But I really am pleased to see you back though, if slightly gutted that your gig is while we're away. Oh well, there will be others. :)

Nah, I think you will love it. It's what you have been working for all this time, after all.

I've never done any sort of a gig (unless you count the recorder recital in class 4 ), but I imagine it's like most things in life - prepare as much as you can, and then go out there with a bit of confidence, believing you are good enough to do it.

Even if things aren't perfect, you can get away with murder if the crowd take a liking to you (and why wouldn't they? You guys raaaawk...lol).

I am a 33 year old Mum of two, and I just said 'raaaawk'????? :o

IA - I'm so glad ypu are back sweetie. You're an inspiration to so many of us here.
I have recently fallen foul to a few harsh words from another based on false accusations.. (the person in question thought I had said something a bit cutting, when in fact it wasn't me it had been someone else) and we got into a bit of a battle of words.

It's the first time it's happened to me ever and it made me wonder if I should take a break.

I then thought better of it and put the person on my 'ignore' list. Problem solved.

Don't be put off by trolls and nasty individuals.

You are and have been a wonderful source of laughter and happiness here and the people who love you totally outway those who throw neasty comments.

I raise my glass of snakebite to your return!

    cheers darling!
