I was more just thinking of the ease of being able to pay it off with charges as well as saving the money on interest. I'm mulling over the pros and cons in my head, can you tell? lol!
Pros -
would be easier to manage having it in one place
Would save money in interest depending on rate given.
No early repayment charges or set up fees
They do loans to suits budgets rather than set payments
Can deal with it online
Cons -
Risk of cards being run up again (*ahem, Ste!), would have to be very controlled.
Not guaranteed to get it
Not sure of exact APR.
Debt would all be in my name...
Hmmmmmmmi cant slow down i wont be waiting for you i cant stop now because im dancing0 -
Hi IA,
I just wanted to add into the fold because my husband is pretty much like Ste (from what I've read)...
Before he and I got together, he'd had a credit card, then got a consolidation loan for it, run up the card again, got another consolidation loan, then got another credit card, and now our debts stand with my 2 credit cards and a debt to my mum, all at v.low APR's and OH has 2 consolidation loans, 2 credit cards and one car on finance on the lowest apr of 12.3%...
and no matter how many times I tried to beat it into him he still applied for another consolidation loan on the basis of one lower monthly payment, and he got rejected, so its obv all affected his credit rating, and then so too will the refusal....
Like others have said before your debt is manageable and I honestly think a lot of people learn a lot more from going down the overpayment route, as hard as it may be.... because when something is difficult or hard you truly appreciate the experience....and Im sure you can clear it a damn sight quicker with overpayments than a loan.....
Just my thoughts but ultimately its what you honestly and truly think is best for you and your family xxWealth is not measured by currency0 -

Back
Only had an hour instead of an hour and a half, and have one sitting to go before it's totally finished. But the next sitting is going to be free and she's going to finish off my arm and touch up the first 2 flowers.
Today she finished my top flower and outlined my arm. I LOVE it. Am so happy with it. Will get Ste to clean it up and take a pic in a min. My last sitting is tuesday at 2 and that will be it all finished and done.
Be back asap with some picsTotal 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043
