Faulty purchase under £100, can I expect help from CC company?

Good morning all.
I placed an order for an item for £99.99 which was delivered faultly. The supplier agreed it was faulty and sent out new parts to replace the damaged ones.
To cut a long story short, after two sets of faulty parts and approaching six weeks of waiting, I'm at the end of my teather. The company is no longer answering phone calls or emails and I have asked for a refund.
As it's paid for on a Nationwide credit card, what are the chances of them assisting me?
I'm guessing none, but would love to hear otherwise.

There is every chance of them assisting - it is their problem as the goods were effectively brought by them.
Call them up - explain the situation and what you have done to try and correct it, tell them you are not happy with the response from the retailer and wish to return the goods.
They will then advise how you go about getting your money back.0 -

Is there? You are aware, aren't you, that Section 75 only covers purchases over £100?
To the OP, since it is so close to £100, it may be worth trying Nationwide to see if they will refund; wouldn't hurt to try. If they won't help, it may be worth filing in the small claims court.Conjugating the verb 'to be":

This is true, but generally they do tend to try and assist in cases where the amount is less than £100.0 -
Did you pay any extra for postage?
If so I think this would take it over £100 so you would be covered.0 -
They would have to be particularly hard nosed to offer no assistance whatsoever for a purchase that is 1p under the threshold of S75.
Failing that, as Paul suggested - small claims court against either the credit card or retailer. Or, simply persist with the retailer under the sale of goods act - get trading standards to help you out.0 -

I had a problem with a £40 payment from Amex- and they refunded me no problem in one phone call. I guess the thing is to ring up all upset and ask if they can do anything; my theory is if you can't force them to do anything, make them feel sorry for you
But if Amex refunded me - and on a PayPal transaction for a concert ticket as well, which is as about as dodgy as you can get - I'm sure Nationwide will do. I bank with both and generally NW are have been great whenever I've had a problem.
Hope all goes well!

Should be fine. If the retailer aren't cooperating it can be put through as a disupte. Make sure you keep any receipts or invoices i.e. delivery claims etc to back up the investigation.0
