Ryanair: Online check-in for children & Priority boarding Q.

Hello again
I've trawled through mse and ryanair and have a couple of issues that are bugging me before I pay for our flights:
1. We are a family of 5, children are 7, 5 and 2. My husband and I think we should check in two bags, one each which will be done at the airport along with our check-in. However, it's cheaper to check in the children online, that's ok right?
2. Priority boarding. We want our children to sit with us, or at least near us (I don't mind sitting further away with one or more of them) so is it worth my husband paying for priority boarding to save us seats?
3. Has anyone bought the Natwest gift card that acts as an electron card to pay for their flights?
Many thanks in advance

People travelling with children should be allowed on first. Anyone with online check in gets free priority boarding. So I don't think it should be a problem getting to sit together.0

Not any more... they changed this for all bookings made from 3rd June 2008Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks

Oh really? That's a shame, that was a really good thing! I suppose they just had it to show people how nice priority was.0

With the number of people checking-in online increasing massively they were running out of 'priority boarding' spaces for people to buy...........0 -
You cannot have some people check in online, and some at the airport. All passengers on one booking have to use the same method. You would need to split your bookings.Gone ... or have I?0

oh that sounds complicated. Obviously I cant book my children separately (without adults)?? Unless I checked in online with two children and my husband and one child together with a bag each?
(Knew I should ask on here!)

You will probably need to split bookings anyway if you plan to use the Natwest gift card, as the maximum you can load on it is £250 according to the Interweb.Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks

I think that legally they have to ensure that an under age child is next to at least one of the accompanying adults during the flight. On my last Ryanair flight about ten days ago, the cabin staff were asking for adults to move seats because they had an adult and child board with the only two remaining seats well apart.
I preferred the old system where young kids with their famillies boarded first, followed by the first 69 people to have checked in. What hacked me off was famillies with 4 adults and a 15 year old son trying to get on under the "kids first" rule.
But of course Ryanair saw that they could charge people for boarding first. Now you see mothers with young kids and people in wheelchairs getting caught up in the scramble for seats.0 -
Another q. It says infants are allowed one free pushchair to carry on board. MY youngest is 2.5 so not an infant as such. Do we have to pay for the pushchair?0

I've figured there is no charge0
