Delivering project updates to clients

Hi
I need to keep a client up to date with a video project we're working on. We're tweaking the edit and need their input every so often. I need a way for them to see how we're getting on.
Problem, they're not very technically savvy and so the mazes of FTP are out of the question.
It'll also be too big to email all the time.
I was wondering if there is some kind of 'private youtube' where you can show a video only to people who have a username and password.
Anyone know of SIMPLE (for the client to view, no need to physically have the file necessarily) file transfer 'solutions'

Couldn't you just stick it somewhere on your website and embed it? Then just send the link to whoever needs it?0

I think http://photobucket.com/ supports video and you can set to private, sure there are many others too.
Else why not just create a protected or hidden webpage on your site for them, upload the video file via FTP to your server, and they can visit a standard html page to download it?
I do this with large files for clients all the time, either setting up a secure login for access, or just a randomly titled hidden URL that I remove after they've got the file.0 -
Google Basecamp or Webex0

thanks is there no service (i'm willing to pay) where i can give the client a username and password and they can just put it in and view the video i've uploaded?Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Again, just encode it into a web page, and make the video require some sort of login to see. Wouldn't need to be amazingly secure as its just a video, plus the chance of anyone finding it would be low.
Or why not use youtube like mike said?0 -
ok i'll have a think about that
