Advice RE: A Credit Card With A Decent (24H) Authorisations Department.

Morning all.
I regularly use my CapitalOne Credit Card out of "normal hours" and this is often for large Internet purchases. Unfortunately, I am now sick of having my card blocked due to their "Active Fraud" system, only to find the block cannot be removed between 7:30pm and 8:30am. The excuses are pathetic for such a large company, the stories inconsistent from their Indian call centre and the manners and level of service from the Indian call centre leaves a lot to be desired (admitedly not their fault as they have to deal with customers who are angry about the inadequate system that is in place).
I have decided to take some time to look for an alternative card, and while I don't expect their to be no fraud protection, I do want a CC company who can offer genuine 24 hour support and authorise transactions / unblock my card, and from a UK call centre if that is what it takes.
Has anyone had similar problems and can they advise or suggest an alternative provider? I am aware family have had 24 hour authorisations with Marbles (HFC) in the past, but they said they spend more time unblocking the card for Internet transactions than actually using it. My father has also mentioned Egg as apparently they have an automated system that rings you to authorise suspicious transactions; can anyone confirm this?
Thanks in advance for any advice,
