Don't forget the max is 1litre, so you could decant it into separate bottles and still take a lot. As you can also have larger containers with under 100ml in then OP could also take the orig bottle, practically empty after decanting, and then refill it back on arrival - a mess, maybe, but an option if preferring an aerosol-pump lotion

Actually the larger part-empty container thing is not strictly true. toby. The government website says "Containers larger than 100ml (excluding essential medicines) will not be allowed through the security point even if they are only part full." (sorry not allowed to paste links)

Our Tesco's have a travel isle where they sell this sort of thing designed for the liquids rules, also 100ml bottles which you can fill. I imagine every large Tesco will have a similar section.

Primark was selling travel bottle to fill yourself for £1.00, i've took Malibu super-drug sell a triple pack for £7 2-sun lotion & 1-aftersun all 100ml bottles... or you can buy from boots once your passed security...
