Also in Stratford:
Squares crisps 7-bags multibag
Coppertone UV Protect SPF50 Perfect UV Cut Cream. It's all in an Oriental language but has an English instruction label on the back - but suncream isn't exactly complicated! The white tube looks quite posh.
Lyons instant coffee - haven't tried it yet.
New You recovery oil - promises to improve scars, stretch marks, skin tone and dryness. It feels and smells a lot like the Poundland Flexitol, I have a squirt of one oil on each arm and this one has a tad more lavender, apart from that I can't feel a difference.Public appearances now involve clothing. Sorry, it's part of my bail conditions.0 -
NOT a bargain- beard trimmer / scissor set.
scissor handle broke apart on first use. trimmer very flimsy too.Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..
Sometimes seen lurking on the compers forum :-)0 -

Nope I planted them out yesterday - they'll be fine xxxHere dead we lie because we did not choose

I can see that Lidl now have their Christmas goodies, including 1kg panetonne for £3.99. I usually buy it (800g?) from the 99p store around March time (its always stacked on big pallets), but didn't see any this year. I'm interested to know whether it materialised in any of the stores?
And also to say that I saw the party packs of Mini-Cheddars in Lidl for £2.69 so am happy to have bought some this summer from 99p shop in Camden.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

I used to use the original orange version of this a few years ago and paid about £4 in Boots as they didn't have it elsewhere. Found it a lot better than other facewashes as it didn't dry my skin out.
Quoting myself from months ago...this weekend I found the orange version of this in my local store. I had found the pink one in a different city when I was out and about and never saw it at home, but now they have the orange variety. It's now about £5 in Boots.
I also spotted a couple of bottles of Head and Shoulders Colour Care Conditioner. I searched all my usual 'cheap shops' for this when I started buying it and couldn't find it. Best I could do was 3 for £9 on the big bottles in Tesco...so I was pleased to be able to grab a couple of these in the 99p shop. Just wish I could find the shampoo now!0
