I am been having a problem On Egg MM as some of my external account does not connect. I wrote to EGG and got this messege.
"There's been a problem using Egg Money Manager if you've recently updated any software on your PC or you've recently installed Vista or Windows XP.
Our technical department have noticed that there's an issue using the 64bit Internet Explorer as it requires the use of 64bit versions of any ActiveX controls downloaded. This includes everything from Adobe PDF readers to any other ActiveX reliant program, such as for Egg Money Manager.
Therefore to use Egg Money Manager under a 64bit Windows, running either Vista or Windows XP, you'll need to use the 32bit version of Internet Explorer.
The majority of ActiveX controls don't yet support the 64bit platform.
We can't tell you to change any of these settings on your PC as we're not IT trained. We don't know if this would affect any other software or settings currently on your PC.
We can, however, confirm this is the reason why Egg Money Manager isn't working. It'd be up to you if you'd like to change any settings to reflect the above information given to you".
What does this mean? Only thing i have done recently is up dated internet explorer from 6 to 7

Sounds to me like your running a 64bit version of Windows designed for 64bit processors. If you right click on my computer and select properties, you should see the Windows version etc. That being the case, your upgrade has probably installed the 64bit version of Internet Explorer which doesn't seem to work with Egg. I would suggest downloading Mozilla Firefox version 3 (latest). Just do a google search. Firefox works the same as Internet Explorer but is usually more stable!!0

You haven't actually said what version of windows you're using. If you've updated recently from internet explorer 6 to 7 then you must have XP and there's not that many people who use a 64 bit version of XP so I VERY much doubt that the 64 bit issue has got anything to do with it. Assuming you are using a 32 bit version of XP that is."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

When i right click on my computer it tells me this:
Microsoft windows XP
Home Edition, Version 2002,
Service pack 2
Intel pentium (R) CPU 280942
279 GHZ, 256 MB RAM
not sure what all this mean, and not sure if this has 64 bit or 32 bit.0 -
32 bit then. If it was 64 bit it would actually say (I'd have thought) so what you've been told by Egg is completely irrelevant. If it's only connecting to some accounts and not others I'd be very heavily inclined to think it's a problem with Egg MM themselves and their software/servers. Not much you can do about that except complain in the strongest terms.
Although as a side issue you may want to upgrade to service pack 3 and 256 MiB of RAM for XP is very lacking. Should be 512 minimum really (you will notice the difference)."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"
